Hypoglossal nerve stimulation has been evaluated for many years, and in 2014, Inspire therapy was approved by the FDA. Today, over 14,000 patients have received Inspire therapy and the therapy is fully reimbursed in the United States. On-going technology developments will further improve the procedure and cloud-based tools are evolving to manage patients and ensure strong patient outcomes.
