These symptoms are presented by individuals across the lifespan with a greater prevalence in the older adult patient. The majority of these patients present with chronic conditions and often are not candidates for medical or surgical management. As a result, many patients are left with few options and often are told “learn to leave with it” or sent off to therapy without an actual diagnosis of the functional impairment to be treated.

This Pre-Con will present a comprehensive look at the evidence based clinical pathways and proven strategies to enhance patient care and generate revenues for otolaryngology practices large and small. The addition of neurodiagnostic testing for the “dizzy and balance” patient, has however, often been overlooked, despite the abundance of patients with dizziness, vertigo and falls.
