His primary clinic interest is in the field of facial plastic surgery, particularly facial reconstruction, rejuvenation, and rhinoplasty. Dr. Park is internationally recognized as one of the leaders in Facial Plastic Surgery and has given numerous lectures around the world on these topics. He has authored publications on various topics in Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been the president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), a Director with the American Board of Otolaryngology \u2013 Head & Neck Surgery, and the vice-chair of the Otolaryngology Residency Review Committee (RRC). Dr. Park grew up outside Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Amherst College in 1984. He then attended the University of Michigan Medical School and received his Otolaryngology training at Tufts University, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery in Portland, Oregon. In 1994 Dr. Park joined the clinical faculty at the University of Virginia as director of the division of Facial Plastic Surgery.
