She is the President of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Rutt is a member of the editorial board for the ENT Journal and The Journal of Voice. She is on the Advisory Board for the Voice Foundation. Dr Rutt is also a member of the Voice Committee and Laryngology & Bronchoesophagology Education Committee. She is a post-graduate member of the American Laryngological Association. She has published several manuscripts on laryngeal pathology and voice disorders.
