He has a passion for the integrative management of sports and non-sports related concussion and traumatic brain injury in patients of all ages. \n\nHe is a National Team Physician for USA Swimming, Chair of the Concussion Task Force for USA Swimming, and was a Board Member of the Colorado MINDSOURCE Brain Injury Network for the past 6 years.  Prior to moving to Fort Collins, he was the Past Chair of the Concussion Task Force, Grand Junction, Colorado and was a Team Physician for the Grand Junction affiliate team of the Colorado Rockies. Prior to moving to Colorado 10 years ago, he was the Team Physician and Co-Medical Director, Department of Athletics, University of Virginia, during which he helped develop numerous Sports Medicine Programs for care of all Division 1 athletes, including a comprehensive Sports Cardiology Program in conjunction with Dr. Robert Battle, Head Team Cardiologist, Department of Athletics, University of Virginia.
