Session Description

The impact of cognition on hearing and communication continues to generate discussion and interest throughout the hearing health community. In fact, scientific and real-world evidence supports incorporating cognitive screening results into clinical practice to guide patient management decisions, and as a tool to assess outcomes following treatment. Because the role of cognition in hearing has emerged as an important clinical consideration during routine ENT and audiologic assessments, developing and sharing evidence-based best practices for implementing standardized cognitive screening practices into treatment decisions and clinic workflow have become critical to modernizing patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. Join Jed Grisel, MD and Jill Davis, AuD as they present real-world data demonstrating the value of cognitive screening to drive patient-centered care and improved outcomes through more individualized care models.
This session is appropriate for MDs and AuDs and other professionals involved with hearing healthcare.
