About Brett Scotch

Dr. Brett Scotch is board certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree Cum Laude from the University of Florida and his medical degree from the Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Michigan State University Affiliated Hospitals. He served our country as a Major in the United States Air Force Medical Corps and was decorated with numerous distinguished service awards. During his active-duty service tour, he served as Director of the MacDill Air Force Base Hospital sleep lab. He is the founder of the Scotch Institute of Ear, Nose & Throat in Wesley Chapel, FL and served as the founding Vice-President of the Select Physicians Alliance, PL. He now serves on the board of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, PL. Additionally, he serves as President of the Select Physicians Surgery Center in Tampa, FL, the largest dedicated Otolaryngology surgery center in the state. As an active advocate for our profession, Dr. Scotch currently serves as 1st Vice President of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) and is a member of the board of trustees. He is state delegate to the American Osteopathic Association. In addition, he was appointed by the Florida Surgeon General to serve on the Physician Workforce Advisory Council. He is a past President of the Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Association. Additionally, he has been honored by his profession and his peers with the Physician of the Year award by the FOMA, and he has been ranked on the Best Doctors List and is the recipient of the Tampa Top Doctor recognition. Dr. Scotch is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery / Otolaryngology at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Nova Southeastern University.
