Session Description

This course will review the most recent evidence base recommendations for allergic airway diseases diagnostics and management. We will review different test methods for allergies based on most recent guidelines. Treatment options for allergies are discussed including environmental methods, medications, sublingual immunotherapy in tablet and drop forms, subcutaneous immunotherapy as well as new future potential treatment options. We will also discuss how COVID19 epidemic has affected and changed the allergy management in ENT offices and how we can keep our staff and patients safe.

Session Objectives

After attending this activity, attendees will be able to:

1. To review current recommendations for airway allergy diagnostics

2. To discuss allergy management options including medication, environmental methods, and immunotherapy in different forms

3. To evaluate the effects that COVID19 pandemic has had on allergy care in ENT practices
