Session Description
Biologics have significantly advanced the specialty's options in controlling systemic factors leading to chronic sinus and airway disease. This session will explore the history of biologics, differentiate the biologics currently available, discuss those currently in trials, and present an algorithm for deciding on optimal and efficient usage.
Session Objectives
After attending this activity, attendees will be able to:
1. Define biologics. How are they developed and what is their potential
2. Define the pathways leading to various applicable disease states, and show the areas of the pathways affected by biologics
3. Enable the practitioner to incorporate most current standards of biologic usage for the appropriate patients
