Session Description

This course will provide an overview of energy-based sculpting of the interior nose for the treatment of nasal obstruction. The presentation will focus anatomic causes of nasal airway restriction and the potential targets of nasal sculpting with an emphasis on mechanisms of action and tissue effects. Current and emerging technologies will be discussed.

Session Objectives

After attending this activity, attendees will be able to:

1. Recognize anatomic contributors to nasal obstruction

2. Describe the purpose and targets for sculpting of the interior nose

3. Outline the mechanism of action for energy-based treatments of nasal obstruction
