Jihoon Lim

Jihoon Lim is a second-year medical student at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. Prior to medical school, Jihoon worked as a research assistant at the Initiative for RNA Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where he gained a passion for translational research and novel cancer therapeutics. He currently serves on the board of the UCF College of Medicine’s Otolaryngology Interest Group and uses his platform to learn and share about the diverse field. His other research interests include pediatric otolaryngology and obstructive sleep apnea. Jihoon also serves as the co-President of the Florida Chapter of the Korean American Medical Student Association.
