About Dan Slaughter

Dr. Daniel Slaughter earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. He entered medical school at the age of 19, as the youngest student in the prestigious school’s history. He served as a freshman class student president and graduated with honors as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He continued his training with a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. Dr. Slaughter is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine. He has been in private practice for more than 25 years in Austin, TX. His solo practice, Sinus & Snoring Specialists, focuses on office-based rhinology and the management of sleep-disordered breathing. Dr. Slaughter has been actively involved in the development of leading-edge technologies in Otolaryngology, with specific interest in sinus disease. He was integral in the development and FDA approval of balloon sinuplasty technology.
